Christmas Eve

The past few years for Christmas Eve, we have decorated a Christmas box to take to the Doty's.  This box we decorated this year was ugly sweaters, so we decided to dress the part!

Aunt Maggie bought this awesome book when they went to London. It's called the Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas!  So fun!
Josh slept through most of the party.
Grandpa and kiddo's, well those that were listening to the Dinosaur poop story.
Gabe came and hang out with us! That was a nice surprise. Piper was so jealous every time one of the little girls tried to sit on his lap. Nobody messes with her Gabe.
Grandma Becky went to Israel at the beginning of the month and she brought the kids lots of fun things back from there.
These hats kill me. I am not sure if this sacrilegious or not, but what a neat keepsake.
Everyone in their Christmas jammies!

Random Road Trip Pictures

These are random road trip pictures that don't fit into any specific theme.
Piper licking the popcorn package. Um, gross!
Josh and the kids checking out the map to see where we had come from and where we were going.
Lizzie and Josh making faces. They took about a million.
My kids were so excited to do the zipline.
Piper would only let them pull her about half way up.
Ha,ha, ha.  He look sso funny in this picture.
We found a llama farm and had to get out on the side of the highway and make JD take a picture.
Waffles and sausage at the Carter house!  Look at all those cousins sitting in a row! Poor outnumbered Piper.
We took lunch to Grandma Doty.  It was just lucky coincidence that we were in town on her 87th birthday!

Temple Square

The last stop on the roadtrip list was Salt Lake City. Of course we had to do temple square. I had never been and neither had the kids, so glad we made the stop. It was so beautiful.
We met up with Danny and the Carters there. Piper spent most of the time being carried around by Uncle Dahani.
 I love this crazy bunch!
Piper Chillaxin in front of the reflection pool.
Tyson taking it all in too.
 Oh my goodness, so beautiful!
 My sweetie and I.
 The Carters
Danny and Madison.

Ashers Blessing

We were able to take a little road trip this past weekend and first stop on the trip was to Blanding for Ashers blessing.  By the time we took this picture, he was angry! Sarah and Talon had him blessed at home, so it was a small affair and afterwards we had a luncheon with all of the family.

I love this sweet boy to the moon and back! he looked so handsome and was so sweet!

Santa Claus 2014

Going to Tuachans live nativity is one of my very favorite holiday traditions. It always puts me in the Christmas spirit. Of course no visit to Tuacahn is complete without seeing Santa.
Piper asked Santa for a Boo dog.
Tyson asked Santa for Lego Battle for Ninjago City.
This awesome kid asked for Santa to feed hungry people all around the world. It's been his wish every year since he was 9.

I love this little family of mine! So blessed.
I love these peeps!

Cookies & Asher has swag

Ahhh! Asher has swag!  I love this picture.
Sarah and Talon came down for a night to get some family pictures done and they ended up staying for two days. Which was just fine with me! We looked at Christmas lights, we went shopping, we went to the ward party and much more. Oh and we decorated about a million cookies!
JD decorated 1 cookie and then he just held Asher the entire time. He's quite smitten with this little guy.
Look at that face! Oh my goodness!  I love this little boy so much.
I take my roll as Grandma very seriously. Talon was sneaking around taking pictures of everyone. So glad he did.
And this is what happens when Piper is left to her own devices! She made a huge mess everywhere, but you can't help but to love her!

Christmas Choir Concert

I don't know that I really need to type much about this.  The kids were cute, we heard the traditional songs. Piper was the cutest in that cheetah hat.  Such a ham!  She loves being up in front of people. I need to get her into drama or something.  After the concert we had corn dogs and chips for dinner at the school.  All in all a good nigh!

Oh Christmas Tree

Another of our favorite family traditions is going to Pine Valley to cut a Christmas tree. A fake one just won't do at the Doty house.
Wow!  Who is that good lookin' guy?
I am such a lucky girl!
It was unusually warm for tree hunting. Last year we were wading in 2 feet of snow. This year we just showed up in  hoodies and Tyson and JD didn't even do that.
Piper had to have her very own little tree.
I must admit she was pretty cute carrying it out over her shoulder like that.
 Josh and his baby.
Piper was cute carrying it out but she did complain a lot about it poking her.
I told JD the reason we had kids was so they could someday take over dragging the Christmas tree. Only 25 years or so until he has his own kids and  doesn't have to do it again
I didn't get any pics really of us decorating the tree, but this one of Tyson. He's so cute!
