Stinkin' Cute Girl

Mudpies & Ducks

This is what happens when you let a 4-year-old put on her own sunscreen!
Once agian we are at the resevoir.  Piper wanted a little spa getaway.
 And then they made mudpies.
My daughter has some strange obsession with mud.  Which I find funny because she is a girl, but I guess even girls can like mud.  She likes to play in it, throw it, cover herself in it and best of all make pies for everyone!
The ducks at the the resevoir are not afraid of people.  They kept coming over looking for something to eat. The kids were trying to catch them and baiting them with cheetos.

It was a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Toothless

This kid gets a loose tooth and it drives him crazy until it comes out!  He let's Josh yank them out and doesn't even cry.  OUCH!  He lost these two about a week apart!  His cute little toothless grin just kills me.  I love it!

Ivins Resevoir

The Ivin's Resevoir has become one of our favorite places to hang out.  The kids love to swim, fish, or just hang out there.
We went out there for a family home evening the other night.  It was a lot of fun, but super windy.  There were swells on the water!
Josh took the kids on the dock to see if it might be any better, but it wasn't.
 I love sun pictures.
The only thing we caught was seaweed, but they didn't seem to mind a bit.
And one of my cute Roxy.  She had fun too!

I've Got a Pile of Dirt

I'm singing my title in my best imitation of Captain Jack Sparrow.  I love that movie.  However instead of a jar of dirt, I have piles of dirt.  Lots and lots of piles of dirt.

Our neighborhood has been plaqued with road construction for the last 7 weeks!  Yep, you hear right 7 weeks and we are nowhere near done :(

Although I hate it.  My kids and the all the neighborhood kids are infact enjoying it very much.
Have I ever mentioned that I hate red dirt.
Best part about all this.  When you make the kids strip down naked on the front lawn and spray them off with the hose.  Ha, ha, ha!
Atleast we are seeing a light at the end of this mess.
It will make for some pretty boring evenings in the neighborhood, though!

Pip & Addi

These two are two peas in a naughty pod!  Heaven help us when they become teenagers.  This picture was to cute not to share.

10 Years & Countin

Ten years!  Where did they go!  I can't believe we've been married 10 years!  It's awesome, because Josh is seriously my best friend. He is my constant and my sweetie.  He works so hard for us and loves me unconditionally even though I drive him CRAZY 99% of the time.

We took a weekend to get away and hang out together to celebrate.  We went to Kolob and stayed at the cabin.  It was a blast.  Hanging out late, sleeping in, watching movies together, hiking, riding the 4-wheelers and even doing a little fishing.
Josh was scheduled to get off at 12.  We wanted to be on the road by 4.  Well, we didn't leave St. George until 6.  But that's typical of us!  On the way up the mountain we blew a tire on the trailer.
Here I am watching Josh change the tire on the trailer.  It started to rain like 5 seconds after this picture and then I went back to the truck.
We got to the cabin and had some dinner. It was late so we left the truck and trailer along and figured we'd unload in the morning.  Well, the truck wouldn't start in the morning.  One of the batteries had blown up so we had to jump start it with Cory's truck (lucky he was there) and then run down into Hurricane to get a new battery.
When we got back, we went on a ride and stopped at the lake to do some fishing.  We didn't catch a dang thing, but that's okay.
Josh picked me some wild flowers while we waited.
Josh wanted proof that I had been there . Fixing some breakfast.  Some yummy eggs, bacon and hash browns the morning we left!
It was so beautiful and the weather was so nice.  It was hard to come home to the 104 degree heat.

I'm so glad that we went and had a fun weekend together.  You don't get those often when you have kids!  I love you babe, 5 lbs and forever!
