Hanging Out

Today was a great day!!! I mean that. It was just one of those days where everyone has fun and gets along. We spent 10 hours today with our Carter family. We ate a big lunch together and then went to the splash pad with the kids and followed it up by going to Kym's parents home for a barbeque and swimming. I took about 75 pictures all from today. The kids are just so stinkin' cute, I can't help myself. I picked out a few of my favorites to share with you.

Life is always fun and adventureous when we are all together. There is never any planning, we all just kind of fly by the seat of our pants. It makes life fun. We have such a great history with our Carter bunch. We love you guys!!

16- What do you like to do together? When we had time we liked to camp and fish, now it's just hanging out on the couch watching movies.

20- Who asked who out first? We went rabbitt hunting, but I don't think it was inteded to be a date. But we ended up holding hands the whole time.
21- Who kissed who first? Josh made the move first, after our unofficial first date (I know, first date but we had been hanging out for 2 years prior to that)
22- Who proposed? Josh, he took me completely by suprise.
23- Best features? Every stinkin one of them!! But I love his butterscotch eyes. He's my Edward!

24- What is his best quality? He is an AWSOME daddy. He is also one of the most unselfish people I know. He's always off helping somebody with something. He's also the my best-friend, but for so many reasons.

Blanket Fort

This is how the Doty's spent their morning. We made a huge blanket fort in the living room and layed under it while we watched old-time Mickey Mouse cartoons. It was a lot of fun.

Pictures from our crazy morning. Life is fun and exciting, as always. I love the morning. We have a lot of fun.

It's Garden Time

Okay, so I know I am a little late. What's a girl to do? I've been sort of busy. But I felt bad because Aaron built me these awesome little garden boxes, because I wanted them and then I let them sit for like a month.

So Aaron comes home and asks me how my garden is doing. I laugh and say what garden? I promise I am not lazy, I just have a billion things going on. So he goes and gets me all these plants that are already started. So last night I planted them. The kids were suppossed to be helping, but it was all me. J.D. is not looking forward to weeds, but I hated them as a kid to.

I am so excited to see how this goes. Hopefully I don't kill it all. I am not known for my green thumb. I can't wait for the tomatoes. Oh, my mouth is watering just thinking about them.

It was a good week. We did a lot of stuff, but it was mostly for young womens. We had a knife safety class at the park, we played wheelbarrow baseball at the park, we had a playdate at Jayma's while we made recipie boxes for young womens. Crazy Week!!

We also went to BayLee's birthday party and had a picninc with our Carter cousins. It was such a beautiful day on Saturday. Just a few pictures from our week!!

Frustration with Blogger!!

Okay, I am having major problems with blogger. I can never get my pictures to post. It is so frustrating. I think it has to do with my internet speed. I am cheap, but up until now I have had no real frustrations. I promis I will post soon. I seem to have better luck by posting early in the morning.

Anyone else have problems??

Another Day At The Park

Another fun day at the park in Hidden Valley. Today we went with the Carters and the Smiths. It was a beautiful day.

Piper, Casen & Caleb had so much fun sitting on these spinning toys. So did their moms, but Trina has those pictures and those are ones I don't think I will share.

After the park we went to feed the ducks. Tyson didn't have on any pants but he refused to stay in the car to feed them. So here he is in all his glory hanging out with the ducks.

Thank you to all the friends and family that came out to celebrate with us. We had so much fun!!! If Piper could have said thank you, I am sure she would have, but since she can't, I will say THANK YOU for her!!!!

For those of you who know my father-in-law Scott, all you need to know if that there was a roll of painters tape and Scott had it. Need I say more??

Hard to believe that my baby is one!!! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home. It has been such a fun year. Piper is such a sweet girl. She is a snuggler and she loves to play with her brothers. She loves to laugh and be tickled. She is especially fond of her daddy and her grandpa. Just because they are so silly. We love her so much and are so thankful for her and what a blessing she has been to our family. Love you Suey!!!!!!
