Pilots and conducting
Have I mentioned how much I love the Cubscout and Boy Scout program? I think it's a fantastic
We did an airplane themed pack meeting tonight and it was super fun. I made the pilot license for the boys to have a photo.
JD isn't in cubs anymore, but he came and conducted so that he could earn his communications merit badge.
Tyson was able to carry the flag. It was pretty exciting for him!

Piper and Brady
This is Brady! We've been watching him for one of my friends, just a few days a week, for the past few months. He's a sweetie and my kids love him. Piper thinks he's an oversized baby doll. I don't know that Brady loves it very much but Piper certainly does!

Golden Cheatah's
I tried, I tried to pick only a few of these pictures to share. But I couldn't narrow it down. This is going to be a fun year of soccer! We knew all of the girls who were playing and it was so fun to have so many friends together on the field.
Piper and Miss Jordyn!
I love this one! All by herself out there kicking a ball.
Oh wait, she's going for the goal and Ava caught it!
Let's head back down again for another try!
Here we go!!!
And she scores! I love this picture! So, so cute!
She was so proud of herself.
This picture was so sweet! They were congratulating her on her goal.
I love, this picture too. Lydia and Piper are good friends. It was fun to see them battling it out on the field.

JD's first court of Honor
so extremely proud of that kid! He got 2 advancements and 6 merit badges! Scouts is a lot of work! I had no idea how much work it was going to be. February was an intense month for him as he did 2 pow wows and hunters safety all in 3 weeks time.
I hate how he gets this look, whenever he is being praised in front of people. He does not like people recognizing his accomplishments. He feels like he's showing off.
So proud of my scout!

Soccer
It's to bad, that he doesn't love soccer.
He's pretty dang good at it, as he makes the 1st goal of the season!
It's just what he does to bide his time till football or Rugby rolls around.
Look at the disappointment on that face!
Man we live in a beautiful place. It makes for nice pictures!
And I guarantee, I would not want the boy running at me. He's a tank!

Kanab and Nie Nie
I spent the weekend living it up in Kanab, Utah with these lovely girls! Wow! I thought growing up in Marysvale was bad, but Kanab might be worse. We had as much fun as possible. Hilights from the night include a giant shopping cart, playing spoons, visiting a scary museum, and wandering the streets going from store to store. We bought matching peace sign bracelets and had a horrible dinner at Borasco's. I don't know how long it will be before I will be able to eat a chimichanga again.
The whole reason we went to Kanab was to meet Stephanie Nelson or Nie Nie as she is called in the blogging world. I have wanted to meet her for the past 7 years and just give her a hug. I was able to do that today. She is such an inspiring woman and such a beautiful person. I have followed her blog for about 8 years and I just love her. I teared up listening to her speak. In fact, when Christina (Mr. Nielson) introduced her, I started to cry. He gave the sweetest tribute to his mother and talked about how we as mothers, should never underestimate our place in life. It was just such a great morning! I loved being able to hear them speak and also to be able to meet them and spend a few minutes chatting with them. I'm having a hard time even putting in to words how awesome this was!
These ladies are beautiful and I am so glad to call them sister. And daughter in one case! I'm truly blessed with wonderful women in my life!
