Forgotten Treasures

I was looking for a memory card for Josh the other day and found these forgotten treasures.  Pictures taken on my little point and shoot that is in my purse.  The first 3 are from a trip to Menchies with Uncle Austin this summer.
 JD and his mowhawk.
Cute little Tyson who won't eat frozen yogurt, but comes along for the ride.
My sister's kids hanging out with my kids at the Ivins Res.
More of Pip, because well, we can never have enough pics of her!

Ha, ha, ha.  Ignore the mess, we were dejunking and found these overalls. Tyson was convinced he could still fit them. Umm, yeah, he can't.
But Piper will someday!

Trouble x 3

Best little buddies.  But boy, oh boy, they can be a lot of trouble too!  They want to do everything together, but it's okay!!  Good thing I love their momma's too, so we can all pal around together.

I do think that, we are going to be in trouble though in a few years.  What do you think?

Walking on Water

I was in charge of the school carnival agian this year.  I wanted to bring in something new and fun!
Josh was so excited for this, he was the very first person in line!
Water Walkers!  The amazing air filled ball that allows you to walk on water.
Or should I say, fall on water!  I didn't get to try it, but Josh said it was super hard to do.
They put you in this plastic bubble, fill it up with air and zip you up.  Then they toss you in the water for 6 mins to see if you can walk.
You don't really walk, you just sort of roll around.
JD got in and tried his luck.
He did about as good as his dad.
Even Piper got in and tried it out.
I was surprised she did it, but she had a lot of fun.

Very cool!  Always wanted to stick my kids in a bubble to keep them safe!

Teddy Bear Picnic

My mother-in-law has had this idea brewing for about a year now.  She wanted to get all of the granddaughters together to have a teddy bear picnic.  Such a fun and cute idea!  We got to do it a few weeks ago and it was so much fun.
Maggie and Becky were the creative genius behind it all.  They reserved the gazebo at Vernon Worthen Park.  They decorated and Maggie made the cutest invites ever!
Each of the girls had a build-a-bearpicked specifically for them. Of course, Piper got a dog!
The mom's were kept busy sewing the dang things together.  It's much tougher than it looks.  When we got to the point that we were ready to put in the heart, Maggie had all of the girls hold them to their own hearts and whisper a wish to them, so that only they would ever know their wish!
Piper had so much fun!  She looked so beautiful.  I couldn't help but take a few pictures of her!
Piper and her dog, she named Sharpay.
 Me and my girl!
Grandma, Aunt Kris, Mandee and all the girls.  Even Leara came to get in the picture!
I think I'm in trouble in about 10 years.  Heaven help me, she is so cute!
It was such a fun afternoon and I am so glad that I got a chance to be a part of it.  Thanks to my awesome mother-in-law for putting it together and making us do it!  It is a memory the little girls will always cherish.

Tangled Girls

Our sweet friend, Truley had a Tangled birthday party a few weeks ago.  Her super talented mom painted their adorable faces and made them into Rapunzel with real braided, blonde hair.
These were to cute not to share.  Look how darling she is.
She adores having her face painted and I just had to share how beautiful she is.  I am so lucky to be the mom of such a little headstrong, loveable girl!

It's Dixie Round up time!  Nothing like a good rodeo!!  The kids had a blast hanging with their cousins and our buddies the Schwindemans!
JD looks like a total Piute County Cowboy in this get up.
 The girlies!
The day we went to the rodeo was Cowboy day at school for Tyson.  They read a book about a cowboy with a red bandanna and of course Tyson had to wear a red bandanna.
The kids loved everything about the rodeo.  They really do a good show, but I wish it was more rodeo and less fluff.

Tyson plays Football

Mostly Tyson just jumps up and down and runs down the field. But he loves it.  He's so cute!!

Football!!!

JD loves football.  It's what he wants to play in high school.  He is super good at it.   This is probably his last year playing flag and then we'll move him up to tackle.  I would really like it if he chose another sport because I worry about him getting hurt, but if this what he wants to do, then we'll do it!
