Easter Hunt, Marysvale Style

I am getting so behind on posting pictures! Here are some of the one's from the Marysvale Easter Egg Hunt,
This was actually after it was all said and done. Piper was in the back of the truck with all the baskets. Mom and I looked over and she had unwrapped a whole package of bubble gum and put every piece in her mouth! It was hilarious. The picture does not do it justice!
Piper got some fun toy's and tons of candy.

Sherry is in charge of the Easter Egg Hunt and so we got to go down and help hide the candy. It didn't help us any in the end, because I think we only found 2 pieces that got missed. And we had Brannigan and J.D. hiding in the older kids, so they wouldn't be the ones hiding their own candy.

Tyson actually did help me hide candy in his age group! But he's the youngest of that group, so he only got a few pieces anyway.
Ashton wants a Hula-Hoop!
Waiting so patiently!
Have I mentioned, I LOVE Marysvale!

Easter - part 1

I have oodles of pictures! I'm going to have to break this down into a couple of posts. We spent the Easter weekend in Marysvale at Sherry's house. The kids had a blast. They alway's do.

Here we are coloring Easter Eggs. It was a bit chaotic with 6 little kids and 7 adults all trying to color eggs, but somehow we managed.

Grandma and J.D.
The hunt was on! The Easter bunny did a great job hiding the eggs! Twoards the end she got a little cold and just put them all over the lawn, butt was great for Piper and Riyo. Smart Easter Bunny!

Piper got a horsie in her basket! And some chapstick, of course we couldn't forget the chapstick!

J.D. was more intersted in the eggs that he could see out the kitchen window, but he got Lego Indiana Jones for the DS.

Tyson got a Cars DS game in his basket. He was super excited because this is the first DS game that is actually his and not J.D.;s.

Life in 3D

This past week has been just as crazy as any other week at our home! I did take the kids out to the movies on Friday after school. We went and saw How To Train Your Dragon. It was so stinkin' cute! Absolutely darling! My kids loved it a lot. It's not very often we go to the full price theater, but it was a lot of fun.

J.D. and Greta waiting for the movie to start.
Me and my Tootie!
All the kiddo's in a row. Then we had to spend the next 5 minutes rearranging all of us. That way everyone who needed popcorn could reach and those who were sharing drinks could share.

Piper was so cute. Her glasses wouldn't stay on her nose. So she pretty much watched a blurry screen the entire time, but she seemed unaware that it was blurry. She sure enjoyed it.
Let's see, what else happened this week? More soccer games and of course Young Womens. We made homemade salsa. YUMMY! Josh went to Pheonix with my brother, Austin. They got lost and it took them from 9:00 am to 1:30 to find their way out!!! Tyson got an old fishing pole from Grandpa Scott. And as we were leaving, Tyson said, "Mom, did you know Grandpa used to be a little boy just like me!!" It was pretty funny. He's sure cute. J.D. spent the night at Nate's this weekend and we had Greta staying with us all week. Whew, it all makes me tired and that is only a little bit of what has happened. Oh, and last night Mandee, Shelley, Kris and I went to a concert at Tuachan. It was Due West!! I love those guys. I've been hooked on Tim Gates ever since Girls Camp. It was a lot of fun!

Going on an Adventure

We went on an adventure today. It's so rare for us to have a day off with Josh, where we have nothing to do. We had Stake Conference today, so we had the entire afternoon free. We took the kids up West Mountain and Josh took us around and showed us a ton of fun stuff. We saw big huge radio towers, we found geodes, we saw fresh water springs, we saw lot's of snow, we saw tons of deer and we let the kids ride in the back of the truck. It was so much fun just hanging out. We really weren't doing much, but it was so fun to just be together. Josh was showing me all of the places that him and the boys go rabbit hunting. It was fun to put a picture to some of the places, because I've heard the stories so many times.
We also found a hidden town up in the mountains. I knew it was there, because I have a friend who goes up there all the time, but I had never been there. And let me tell ya, it's the weirdest place I have ever been. I kept waiting for people with guns to come out and tell us to leave. Every mile or so it was posted as Private property. They have a big sign as you go into the town stating that you need to stay on the road, and everything else is private property. Anyway, I asked Josh if we could leave, because quite honestly it was freaking me out!!!
I wish we could do more things like that. Maybe next year when church is at nine! Anyway, though it was a great day!

Soccer Time

It's soccer time again! I love soccer because the weather is so nice and it's fun to sit and enjoy it while watching the games. This is Tyson's first year playing and he did so well. He actually made 4 goals! This may just be his sport.
His shirt is so big. But he's a little dude. He has been asking me every day if it's his soccer day, yet. He's waited so patiently watching J.D. for the last 3 years and it's finally his turn!
Oh, an action shot. It's hard to catch great pictures because they are moving so fast.
Ah, #3 freakin' rocks! They named themselves the pythons because of the green uniforms. The other name being tossed around was The Limes :). At least, the mom's thought it was good name!
Gosh, I love this kid. I'm trying to teach him about sportsmanship. He kept talking about how they won the game (they don't keep score) and how the other kids lost. I told him, "It's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game. It's important to have good sportsmanship." He came back with, "Yeah, it's important how you play, and we won and those other guys are LOSERS!" We've got some work to do.

J.D. is on Stacie's team again this year. Stacie and I coached together last year. She is so awesome and she knows what she is doing. I know nothing about soccer. Besides that I will never coach J.D. again. He was yelling at me, not to yell at him. I wasn't yelling. At least, I didn't think it was wrong to tell him to quit dancing in the goalie box.

The field is freakin' huge! It's almost impossible to get any good pictures, which is why I only got 3 of J.D. It's a regulation size field. At least they are getting their exercise.
Not sure yet, what they are called, but what a good group of boys. They did awesome!

My Gorgeous kids

Just random pictures of my gorgeous kids. They were all so cute in their church clothes, that I couldn't help but take a few pictures.

I'm thinking, I'm thinking, I'm thinking. Fire Power!
Midgie mode.
I really like his blond tips. He looks so cute with them.

Can't you just see mischief in her eye's?

Oh my, she is pretty cute.

Fun in The Sun

The weather was so nice today! It was 60 degrees and sunny! I hope it sticks around this time. Riyo came down and spent a few days with us. We took a picnic lunch to the spinney park and had a great time today.

Tyson played on these swings pretty much the whole time. He kept getting the bigger kids to play with im so they would fling him up in the air.

We ran into J.D.'s friend Nate at the park. These two are buddies. Nate has been in his class at school. They've had sleep overs and they've gone duck hunting together, but Nate is switching schools because they moved to Washington.

Sprinkles

Last night, J.D. asked me to make a square out of a piece of paper. So I of course obliged. Our neighbor had given us some cupcakes last night and he said he needed to make something for each of the cupcakes. So Josh walked into the kitchen late last night and found this note on top of the cupcakes. Obviously, he didn't want anyone to eat that sprinkle cupcake but him. I don't think this really helps, considering the fact that Tyson and Piper can't read. It was hilarious!

Hello Out There

We are alive! I bet ya'll thought we had disappeared. Lot's has been happening and we've been pretty busy! The first and greatest thing right now is that Josh has been okayed to go back to work. Yeah! He was going stir crazy and Yeah for a paycheck! He is doing very well. We ended up having the CT done and it showed no evidence of a break. He's pretty much back to normal and we couldn't be happier.

I started teaching at Tyson's preschool 2 day's a week. Okay, so I'm not really a teacher, I am a helper mostly. I like it a lot though and the kids are way cute. Tyson loves having me there a couple of day's and Piper does really good there also. I love that I can take her with me.

Spring break is officially under way. I wish we were able to go to California, but we will be staying home and having fun here. We went to Jumpin' Jacks today.
Greta and Piper. It was the first time Greta had ever been there!!!

Super Tyson. I love this picture! He was holding up the dinosaur, because it kept tipping over. He looks like it is really straining him. He is so cute and such a good boy.
I am hoping that life gets back to normal. I'm behind on everything: bills, housework, projects and life in general. Oh well, one day at a time :).
