7's Rugby Leaque

Rugby this year was interesting. We went from playing 15's to playing league 7's. For JD and some of the boys who played for state last year, it was a bit boring. They had a good time though.

Circus Circus

Quick trip to Circus, Circus to spend the night. Josh was coming home from Georgia at midnight and we decided just to stay the night. The pool had just opened and it was so cold!!  The kids had a blast playing in the arcades and eating pizza. This is the night JD earned the name of Willard. Goofy, redneck kid.

Ruby 7's

For JD's Christmas present last year, we bought him a pair of tickets to the Rugby 7's tournament in Las Vegas. We only bought tickets for the first night. Josh was going to go, but it turns out that he had booked himself a trip to Georgia that happened to fall over that weekend.  I was so excited to go with JD. We had the best time. Vegas is crazy and Vegas + rugby is even crazier!  We got to see teams like Kenya and New Zealand play. It was so cool. We really wanted to sneak over to the Kenyan or Fiji cheer section and hang with those peeps. Such a great memory I will never forget!

Dress as your favorite book character

 Oh my gosh!  Are you just dying? Piper is the perfect Hermione with that crazy hair!

 Tyson of course wanted to dress up as a Minecraft Skeleton. I don't think they are actually in the books but they are on the game!!  Just go with it, I guess.

Evening of the Arts

Evening of the Arts. Piper wasn't able to make it with us, but she took 1st place in photography and Tyson took 3rd.

Trouble

These two girls are trouble. But dang, they are cute!!!

Sand Dunes

Quick trip to the sand dunes today. Ran into the Proffits, the Whites and Devin. Super fun afternoon playing in the sand, talking with friends and enjoying the sunshine. the picture of Tyson is in the middle of the huge maze he dug. There are 50 holes, all connected by tunnels. pretty legit!!!

Shelley turns 40!!

 

Had a great night with friends!  Shelley had no idea that we had all been working on putting together a fun surprise party for her. Even The Rock came to hang out with us!!

So grateful for these friends of mine. I am grateful for Shelley and all the memories we have of crazy preschool days and going on the occasional adventure. She is a great person and a great friend.

Chalk Talk

These cute girls love each other so much. We had all of them over and they spent the afternoon writing on the sidewalk in chalk and permanent marker!!!  I loved the things they wrote about each other. I'm so glad that they can build each other up. I am sure that no matter where life takes them, the new friends they meet, they will be best-friends forever. 

Lego League

 We had so much fun today!  Hanging with the Red Mountain Hawks at the Lego League competition at Dixie College.

 Tyson is kind of like the head guy. He is quick thinking and can build really fast.

 Logan is the most expressionative kid I have ever met. His faces were so funny.

 Some lunch time antics. I had all the parents pitch in and we went for pizza. Can't really see Tyson, but lunch was a lot of fun.

When they would have the kids enter they would play songs like, Eye of the Tiger and we will rock you. The kids start jumping up and down and screaming. It's the funniest thing I have ever seen. They should make a movie about Lego league. All these kids in weird costume's. It was a good time.

It was a great learning experience for the kids.
