A little bit shaky at first. Not really sure.
She didn't really need help, just some reassurance from her big brother!
And off she goes! She caught on reallyl quickly. She doesn't like to turn though.
Awww, such a good picture. One giving envourangement from behind and one riding along beside her. She has some good big brothers!

Barbie Princess Charm School
For Piper's birthday we had her little friends over for a Barbie Princess Charm School party.
Addison has the best balance of anyone at the party!
Eva giving it a shot.
Of course, a princess must go to the ball, so we danced!
We played pin the crown on the princess, on which most of them cheated, but they had fun!
The birthday girl!
After our lessons we had a tea party!
Thos girls worked hard to earn their tiara's!
The besties!
Lot's of barbie toys and make up in those presents! It was a great party!
We learned howto walk with books on our head!
Adilyn, Preslie and Mylie. Addison has the best balance of anyone at the party!

Solar Eclipse
Clear back on May 20th, we had a chance to watch a solar eclipse. It was very cool. Becky and I drove up to Kris's house, becuase Kannarraville Utah, of all places was the best place to witness the solar eclipse.
The kids had a lot of fun playing on the farm while we waited because it was a process of a few hours. We used special glasses to watch the sun and Grandma had several welding masks to use also.
Here is a shot I tool through my glasses right as the moon began to cover the sun.
Looking good in my solar eclipse glasses!
Tyson was the kid who was most into it. He sat and watched the sun almost the entire two hours.
Piper didn't really care about the sun. She was to busy playing.
It was very cool. Don't get a chance to see things like this very often!

Birthday Girl
Can you believe this girl is 5? The time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday that she was super sweet and innocent? Don't let this picture fool you. She froze when the servers came to sing to her.
She thinks she's a super model. We went to Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner and she couldn't help but strike a few poses on the way in.
She is such a cute girl. So full of life and an adventurous spirit. A trait that comes from her daddy. She loves dogs and her besties, Addison and Adilyn. Her favorite toys are stuffed dogs. Her favorite dog of all time is Brody. She loves JD fiercely and Tyson, well............ they love each other, they just don't know it yet. Her daddy calls her stinky-poopy and she loves to share puppy kisses (gross!) with her daddy.
She is also my bestie. I am her jungle gym and her favorite person to be around except for maybe Poppa. She loves to help me bake and she's always the stirrer and the dumper. She loves Feta cheese with a passion and she also loves random weird veggies like Brussels sprouts, but cucumbers and pickles are her favorite things to eat.
She is such a good girl and we are so blessed to have her. Love you stinky!

Piper's Preschool Year
Look at my baby! Bittersweet moment. I have LOVED having this year to hang out with my girl every day and to teach her. It has been a phenomenal experience and one that I am so glad to have had. She will get to be at preschool with me again next year, but is truly a moment of moving on, because she will be also attending Kindergarten.
We did so many fun things this year. We went on a lot of field trips. Here she is at the fire station. Funny story about that. We were about 10 minutes into the tour when the pagers went off. Mr. Evans, said, "Got to go, look around and lock the doors when you leave." Only in Ivins, or small town Utah would that ever happen.
We made red & blue fish out of our hands for Dr. Seuss week.
We did experiment week. One of my favorite weeks of the year! Piper & Piper working together to make things explode. I loved this picture. Scared them to death!
We danced a lot! Freeze dance was the kids absolute favorite song. Miss Jordan & Piper dancing it up!
We went to the farm. Love this picture. This girl loves horses as much as I do.
Josie and Piper at anti-gravity. Another favorite field trip of the kids.
We went to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. Front Row, L/R: Jack, Soaka, Josie, Elie, Kambrie, Anna, Piper, Logan. Back Row L/R: Piper B., Addison, Kara, Jordan, Caleb & Cason.
We played at the park a lot! Especially at the end of the year. The kids were just tired of hanging out at school all day!
We did 5 senses. Possibly my very favorite day of the year is taste. "What kind of a pickle is this?"
We hung out with our friends. This poor castle got it's ! Preslie, Jordan, Piper, Piper B., Addison, Josie & Logan!
We did stomp rockets! The kids loved it so much.
We did silly hat day! Piper wore a moose hat.
We visited Dr. Cody's dental office and then went to McDonalds for ice cream afterwards!
Piper and Addison. Best friends! I wish they were in the same grade. Next year will be an adjustment.
Poor Logan. Piper chased him around all year long. And while he complained endlessly about it, I think he secretly loved it. It's a hard life to be so cute.
Aww, look at that cute face! I sure love her and am so glad I had this year to be with her.

1st Grade Program
See that kid in the middle? The one with a wolf on his head and glasses? Isn't he the cutest 1st grader you've ever seen?
It's hard to believe that school is over and my baby will go to 2nd grade next year.
For their program they did Aesop's Fables. It was so cute! They all sang and had a speaking part. Tyson was part of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
He kept telling me to record him. I kept making threatening sign's at him. He was so worried that I wouldn't record him with the new video camera. He's a vain kid. He likes to watch himself.
By the end, he was bored. But he's Tyson. His attention span is about as big as pea.

Red Mountain Preschool
Piper was so lucky and got to go to 2 preschools this year. In the morning she went with me and in the afternoon she went to Red Mountain.
She had so much fun there in the afternoon haning out with Teacher Shelley and Teacher Sarah. She also got to hang with Adilyn, which she loved!
It looks like they had a great year!
Playing with friends and playing dress up!
Doing science experiments!
I am so grateful she had the chance to do both schools. It gave her a break from me and a chance to learn and grow outside of my efforts. I think that is important. Apparently she is really good for Teacher Sarah and Shelley. I am glad to know she did so well and enjoyed her time there. So grateful for good teachers and all her friends there!
