Clear back on May 20th, we had a chance to watch a solar eclipse. It was very cool. Becky and I drove up to Kris's house, becuase Kannarraville Utah, of all places was the best place to witness the solar eclipse.
The kids had a lot of fun playing on the farm while we waited because it was a process of a few hours. We used special glasses to watch the sun and Grandma had several welding masks to use also.
Here is a shot I tool through my glasses right as the moon began to cover the sun.
Looking good in my solar eclipse glasses!
Tyson was the kid who was most into it. He sat and watched the sun almost the entire two hours.
Piper didn't really care about the sun. She was to busy playing.
It was very cool. Don't get a chance to see things like this very often!
