Legoland

Tyson's world is now complete. I have never seen a kid be so excited! Legoland is super cute. It's a little outdated and it's more for little kids. Tyson and Piper were in heaven. JD, not so much, but by the end of the day he enjoyed it. The statues and things made out of Lego's are AMAZING! It was very fun to just walk around and look at everything. Rather than putting a caption under each picture, I will just let the pictures do the talking. We went to the aquarium as part of our ticket purchase. That was JD's favorite part. Tyson's favorite part was being able to see all the lego sets from the Lego movie. He was in heaven. I loved watching JD and Tyson build themselves a Lego ship and how hard they worked on it and how proud they were of it. Tyson about flipped his lid when he saw that they are opening a Ninjago land next year. I guess we will be going back!

Grandma & California cousins

One of the best parts of our California trip for me was being able to go to Ramona and see this beautiful lady for a little bit. I love this cute grandma of mine. I really do need to travel South more often. I love this picture of her and Piper. They were so smitten with each other. It was the cutest thing.

Awww, our little Moody cousins! These boys are wild!  My kids loved them.

Before we left we needed to get a picture with great-grandma, I guess Baby wanted in on the picture too.

I was a little teary saying goodbye to this lady. She has always meant so much to me. I wish I lived closer. For some reason going to California seems so far, but it isn't really. Hoping to be back there soon.

Candy Bomber

So the kids at our school were able to have a very cool experience today! We had Colonel Gail Halverson, the word renowned candy bomber come to our school and do a candy drop!
Colonel Halverson will be 95 this year and there is a good chance this could be one of his last candy drops. We weren't even sure that it was going to happen due to his declining health, but they came through at the last minute.
The FAA, wouldn't let them drop the candy at 500 feet, so they had to be at 1,000. So when they dropped the candy, most of it went into the neighborhoods around the school. But the kids each got a candy bar with a commemorative parachute attached.
Colonel Halverson was the keynote speaker at a September 11th event at the local veterans home here in Ivins. JD and I went and listened to him speak. He was so funny. He's an amazing Utah boy, with an amazing story. It was such a neat day!
The ladies and I had a great day with our preschoolers, but we can't post any of those pictures! I love these gals, they make working so much fun!

Little scammer had to be bribed to pull her tooth by her cousins. She made out with some serious loot, considering the fact that the tooth was literally falling out!!

Summer Hair

Summer did a number on this chic's hair. Time to get a Malibu and see if it will fix it. On a side note, Addison was at Paul Mitchell the day this picture was taken and she said, "Wow, well that outfit is interesting!"

Little Jamaica

Went on a little day trip down to Little Jamaica in Beaver Dam. The kids love it there. They wanted to show their dad how fun it was. They did not get their braveness from me! I prefer the ground, thank you very much!
