Hiking in Snow Canyon

 Took these cute kids to Johnsons Arch in Snow Canyon and spent the morning hiking.

 Kassie and Piper were super cute.  I'm glad that if Kassie won't like me, that she atleast loves Piper!

 These are the days I want to remember forever.  Me and my cute kids, having a blast and making memories. It was such a good day.  Even though we were fighting about the time this picture was taken, but by then, we had been out playing in the red rocks for about 5 hours. They were tired and cranky, but I never want to forget this moment.

 I talked with my kids about how Heavenly Father created the earth and I have a hard time believing that people can look at this and think there is no God.  This world is to beautiful and I am certain His hand was holding the paintbrush the day this part of the earth was created.

Gubler Park

There's a new park in town!  Just up the street and it is so much fun!  We had a blast hanging out there t his afternoon.  I was even able to get a few pictures of JD. How cool is that?  I love the pictures of Josh and Tyson and then Tyson on the ground.  This is what happens when you let dad spin you on the spinney toy.  You fall over, dizzy as heck! I do love these peaceful afternoons with these sweet kids and that awesome husband of mine!

Fishing at Quail

Spent the day fishing at Quail.  Josh's famous saying is, "A bad day of fishing beats a good day of sitting at home."  And that was all to true today.  We didn't catch a single thing.  Not even a bite!  The people to the left and right of us were catching fish like crazy.  Not us!  We left Quail and stopped by the ponds on the parkway and the boys were catching cat fish like crazy!  And I have no pictures of JD.  He hates having his picture taken and will sabotage me whenever possible Boo on him!  But he was there and had a good time.

Pinewood Derby 2014

Tyson said the prayer for dinner just before we headed to the derby and he said, "Please bless me that I will win tonight at the derby.  Just kidding!  It's not about winning but about having fun!"

The highlight of the cub scouts year is always the Pinewood Derby.  Tyson was beside himself to make a Ninjago car.

Had to get a picture that showed the backdrop off a bit.  It took me forever to make!  But it was super cute!

 Sadly, Tyson didn't win a single race.  Don't know what was different about it, becase we cute Christians care exactly the same.  He was so sad.  Broke my heart, but it's all about fun and not winning!

Awww, cute girls!  They had a blast eating nachos, popcorn and root beer and running around like crazy ladies!

Karate Kid

 Stopped for an impromptu photo shoot on the way to karate.

 I have been wanting to get pictures of Tyson while he was still a purple belt.

I love this kid! He is so sweet!  Karate has been such a good thing for him.  He's kinda found an niche here and I love it.  I love that he is gaining confidence and discipline.  It is super strict, but also a lot of fun.

 We had early out all week, so we took the opportunity to go and feed the ducks!

 Bahahahah!  these pictures were taken in about a 30 second interval.  She was posing and showing off and wham, skates slip out from under her and down she goes.  She wasn't even rolling, just parked on the edge of the curb.  I laughed so hard.  She didn't find it funny.

 How grown up is this kid?  I can hardly believe it!

Presidents Day Picnic

 Got everyone together today for a picnic at Mathis Park.  The weather was so nice!

 Had all the Doty cousins there, so we snapped a picture.  We get together all the time, but we seldom stop to take a picture.

 Ummm, can you say trouble? There is only 3 years difference here.  Can you imagine what it's going to be like when they are say 15 and 18!  Wowza!

Rollerblading boy here spent the whole time rollerblading.

Tyson and Caleb found the mud!  Can you believe it's February and it's warm enough to get wet?  Love it!

Hiking

 He's only 11!!!!  I wasn't really ok with this, but it had to happen.

 I can't believe how grown up this kid is.  It is exciting and fun, because he is one of my best friends.

But at the same time it breaks my heart.  He's growing up way to fast!

Children's Museum

Took the kids to the new Children's Museum today.  They loved it.  I wasn't sure if Tyson and JD would like it, but they all had a great time.  We spent 3  hours there just hanging out.  It was super fun!  Piper was obsessed with the wheelchair and asked if I would get her one because she is lazy.  Silly girl!
