Karate

Tyson started Karate at Barella Martial Arts back in April.  He absolutely fell in love with it.  He is doing so well and it's so fun to watch him progress.  He's now an orange belt, but these were taken just a few weeks before he advanced.
The program is amazing.  They teach self-respect and discipline and so many other important things.
Plus I figure, that a kid who is scrappy and loves to antagonize should learn to defend himself.  Even if it is just from his brother.

Superhero's

Pumpkin Patch

Our friends the Johnsons, have a pumpkin patch in Santa Clara.  The last 2 years we have gone there to pick out our pumpkins and have a night of fun.
There is something about walking through a patch and picking out a pumpkin.  It's such a fun tradition.
Tyson kept getting things in his flip flops.  Told the boy to wear shoes.
They have lots of really fun games and activites for the kids and parents to do!
Tyson spent all his money on this tractor driving.  This picture was taken right before he rammed into the girl in front of him.  He's got a lead foot.
Piper spent all of her money riding horses.  Not sure what JD spent his on, he is big enough now, that he doesn't stay with us when we go to things. Super sad that he's gotten so big.
Both of my boys caught a chicken.
Which earned them a 2 dollar ticket to the country store. Thank heavens it wasn't the chicken!
With our coupons we bought smore kits!  The kids loves these cute little kits and it was the perfect way to end the evening.

Deer Hunt 2012

I got to go deer hunting for the first time this year, with Josh and the boys.  I was filling in for Aaron.  I took my camera and took only like 5 pictures the entire weekend.
We had a great time, camping in the most desolate place imaginable.  There were deer though!  The whole time I was on the hillside on opening morning, I just kept thinking how crazy this was, and that the likelihood of really being shot, was there.  Kinda crazy!
JD had so much fun and was so tired by the end.  Lots of sun, hiking and late nights.
When we got home on Sunday night, we grabbed the other kiddos and went for a quick trip up to Pine Valley to scout things out.  Isn't she the cutest thing ever?
 I don't know, he's pretty cute too :).
What a great weekend!  We did eventually end up with 2 deer.  A 4 point and an Elliot deer that only had a horn on one side.

Me and My Bestie

I love this guy. Seriously, 12 years together and I love him more and more each day.
Oh, there are days that he drives me Crazy!!  Like up the walls crazy, but I would never want to go through this life with anyone else by my side.
I'll even include this one for posterity sake.  Kids, your dad is a crazy guy, but love him anyway!

My Greatest Blessings

My greatest blessings and accomplishments in life, call me mom!  There is nothing that I could have done with my life, that can amount to that title.  It is the greatest title and honor that I could ever have.
I am so blessed to have 3 beautiful, smart and talented kids.
There are no words powerful enough to convey how much I love them.  But believe me when I say, I do love them with all my heart and soul.

My Beautiful Family

We've had lots of family pictures.  And each year it seems to me that I love them more and more.  Maybe, I don't really love the pictures more, but I love the subjects of the pictures more and more.  Life is crazy and hectic and I think it's important to capture these moments.  These faces that I love.  Although time moves on and things will change, a moment captured in film, will never change.  It will always be a perfect moment in time.

I love my family so much! We are not perfect, but together we are all perfect for each other.

Thank you to my wonderful friend Lynnette for capturing these moments for us.  I LOVE them and will cherish them always!

Football

This is JD's last year of flag football.  He's just to big and to good to keep playing flag.  It's off to tackle next year.  And boy, oh boy, is he in for a wake up call.  We'll see how he does.  He's so hard on himself.  He gets that from him mom.  He is really good though.  I love watching him and capturing these moments.  They go by all to fast.  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
P.S., I love my new telephoto lens!

Dixie Round Up

My kids love a good reason to dress up in their cowboy and cowgirl gear!  Dixie Round Up is a favorite for the kids!  This was my kiddos before school that day.  And yes Piper is eating a popsicle at 8 am.  I blame Grandpa Scott and Dad for this obsession.
The girls waiting for the rodeo to begin.
 Tyson, Camden, JD and BayLee.
 This kid loves rodeo!
But maybe not as much as this kid.  If we lived in Piute county I have a feeling this one would be a full fledged cowboy.
Awww, Wrangler butts drive me nuts!
