Two Sunday's ago it was our stake conference. We came home, had lunch and headed out the door on an adventure. We've been to the Honeycomb rocks before, but it's been a long time since we went there. I doubt the boys even remember. They really do look like honecomb cereal. The kids had a blast climbing all over them.
In this picture, they are at the very top. They climbed all the way up by themselves.
Piper wanted nothing to do with the rocks, but she was happy to take a walk with me and look around. I love that she is flashing a peace sign!
She was not happy about being up by the rocks. Josh climbed up to the top with her and she cried the whole time.
Afterwards we went to the Enterprise resevoir and let the boys shoot BB guns and throw rocks in the water.
My proof I was there!
There were dead crawdads all over the shore. Piper hated them. She wanted to just sit in my lap and ignore them. Josh thought it was hillarious to keep throwing them on her. Then he started throwing weeds on her and she didn't like that either!
Not sure what he is shooting. Probably a bird.
J.D. drove all the way from the lake to the dam. He's getting pretty good. Soon he'll be able to reach the peddles. I remember driving the hay truck at his age! It's a little insane!
It was a great day ! We had a blast and spent some good quality time together. Love it when that happens!
