I love Red Mountain Elementary.
Last year our kids did so well on end of year testing, that they
held a parade. It was held on September 10th and was
part of their remembrance of September 11th.
The parents were invited to attend and
they showed up in full force.
Everyone wore red, white and blue.
The American Legion were there.
The honor guard did a salute and presented the flag.
We did the Pledge of Allegiance and
sang the National Anthem.
It gave me goosebumps.
Tyson was so excited!

The police blocked off the road
in front of the school.
The kids walked up the block, round the
roundabout and back to the school.
Piper and Addison had a blast watching.
It was so much fun.
I hope they make it a tradition!

fun....and please note that is not a mommy hair do...mommy was gone so either daddy or sister did addies hair! if not you know i will have nightmares again! hehe!
