I took Tyson to the eye doctor over spring break. I had noticed, what I thought was lazy eye and wanted to get it checked out. Found out that he doesn't have lazy eye, he actually can see really well far away, he has 20/20 vision, but up close, he can't focus. So he is far sighted and will have to wear glasses for the rest of his life. I am hoping that this will help him at school, because this year has been a struggle.
He was so excited to get glasses. His frames are Scooby-doo and Power Rangers brand. He looks so handsome with them on. Today his first day at school with his glasses. We'll see how it goes. I am just waiting for him to break them! It's inevitable right?

A little homesickness
These pictures are making me homesick tonight.
I lived at this park when I was a kid.
I am glad that my kids can go there and play just like I did as a kid.
Oh, the memories that I have at the arena. It was and is perhaps one of my favorite places about home.
Look at that big old M on the hill. Maybe I can be like Dorthy and click my heels, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home..............."

Camping at Sand Hollow
Be ready for an onslaught of pictures.
I couldn't pick just a few..........
Over spring break we went camping with some of our good friends, the Connors and the Schwindemens. It was so much fun!
We had lot's of toys and had fun driving on the sand. We had my mom's Rhino out there. It was so cute because Piper is convinced it's called a camel!!! JD even learned how to drive it.
Probably my most favorite moment of the weekend was when Tyson discovered that the Viper had a horn. He crossed his knees and shook his hands, "It has a horn!" Seriously so funny. Then we had to listen to him honk the horn for a solid hour. He got pretty gutsy on it though by the end of the week.
Josh took a couple of good long rides up to the bowl. He loves to be crazy and kamikaze. It's just Josh.
We got in trouble for letting the kids shoot the BB guns in the State park. But nobody said anything until the last day.
Andrea and I thought this was an awesome picture. Look at all the helmets. These were only a few of many.
I had Sherry's kids out on Friday. They had a blast playing in the warm weather and in the sand.
Tyson and Brockton got buried. It was awesome! At least until we had to clean them all up.
All the girls sitting in the Rhino.
The infamous hot dog incident of 2011! Don't worry girls your secret is safe with me :).
Piper and her besties! They were all taking turns fishing with the Barbie pole.Me and JD on the 4-wheeler.
All of the kids loved riding in the Ranger. Poor Kevin had to take them on a million rides!
Piper and Miss Adilyn in the rhino. Josh took them out to play on the edge of the lake. They loved it!
J.D hogged the 500 all weekend. He loves to drive it and is getting pretty daring on it.
Easton and Tyson fishing. They have the patience for it.....
And of course there was food. Lots and lots of food. We defiently didn't starve.
Me and Tyson riding!
Ready to go Mom!
The sunsets were so beautiful. It was great weather and lots of fun.
The kids were so tired, every night! Piper fell asleep with her chips one night!
Fishing as a parent isn't nearly as fun as it was as a kid. We spent all our time rebaiting hooks, untangling snags and untangling lines.
The besties!
It was so much fun! The kids all got along and had a good time! In fact, my kids keep asking when we are going camping again! I am so grateful that I got to make some great memories with my kids and some of our great friends!

Blue Thunder
Tysons soccer team is Blue Thunder.
He is like a superstar!
He scored all 4 goals at their first game.
Even though the pictures are blurry,
I still love them.
He played both quarters with Carter and Mataysha.
They are a pretty good little group.
Ha, ha, this was funny.
Tyson was suppossed to kick it in to a team mate.
Nope!
He kicked it in to himself and made a goal.
I know nothing about soccer,
but I sure love to watch my boys play it!

I need a camera that has a fast shutter
I am missing some awesome shots of my kids.
Well, actually I get them, but they are all blurry!
J.D. had his first game last Thursday!
He did amazing! He made the first goal of the season
And it was a cool shot. On his knees, a kick from the side.
I was one proud mama.
He's so dang cute!

She's a Turtle
Piper is playing soccer!
It's like the cutest thing ever!
The games are super fun, because well,
they don't know how to play.
A girl on the other team got her head stuck in the net!
Here is Piper and her besties!
Adilyn, Addison and the Pip.
Piper and Addison played each other for the first game.
The first few minutes, Piper just sat like this.
She wasn't really sure what to do.
Then she figured it out. I think it's funny
that her and Addison are both #5.
She was super fun to watch.
She looks all sporty!
Can't wait until next week!
