Love them.........

Spent some time tonight hanging out with my favorite girls hanging out at one of my favorite places!
They make me feel young!  They are also such great examples to me!  I love the Young Womens program and how inspired it is!  These girls are amazing!

Another Picnic

My family likes to picnic?  Can you tell.  Just a few photos from one we did while Kevin and Abbie were here for a visit.
The besties!  So glad she has cousins that she can be best-friends with! It's funny because there is such a huge age gap in these girls, but they always end up together!
The big kids being to good to play with the little kids. A bit blurry, but hey, it's a moment captured.  Grumpy tweens!
The men of the family hanging out, talking hunting. Hmmm. Maybe not, Eric is there.  Computers?  Nah, who knows, whatever it is, they seem intent.
The sky was just beautiful tonight.
Sweet baby Locke.  Abbie & Kevin should have a dozen babies.  They do a good job.

Science and Bubbles

Tyson learned how to do this at summer camp and came home and showed the girls.  They spent hours entertaining themselves with bubbles!

Piper, Adilyn & Tomatoes

Just Piper hanging upside down!  These were some of the first pictures I took with my new camera. (just upgraded to the D50).
Isn't she gorgeous!  I love this girl like she was my own.
We were watching Crystals house while they were camping and she told us to come and pick some tomatoes.
The girls had a blast.  Maybe I should try to garden.  Nah, better not!  My green thumb is non-existent!

Look at all those delicious tomatoes!  So glad that someone in the neighborhood can grow the goods!

Rosie

Our Rosie is home! I sure love this girl!  I'm so glad that Tiffany and Ryan shared her with us!  One of the things I love about being in YW's is that once they are your girls, they will always be your girls!  I'm so proud of you Rosie for serving the Lord! Piper missed you like crazy!

Hot Air Baloon

Josh got asked to help our friend Kelly surprise her husband Doug with a hot air balloon ride for his 50th birthday.  I went along just to take pictures.
It was so cool to watch them inflate the balloon and get it up in the air.  Doug was so surprised!  The gentleman who was flying said that anyone who wanted to ride could.
I wouldn't get in with Josh.  So he rode up with Lacey. I had no plans on getting in.
Up they go.  Stephen Hughes was with us and he kept telling that we were next.  I just kept laughing him off and then Sydney, who is Doug and Kelly's daughter, told me that if I was brave, she would be brave and get in with me.  How was I supposed to say no?

So into the balloon I went.  I thought it would be scary, but it wasn't.  It was loud and hot, but the height thing didn't even scare me.  St. George is beautiful from the sky.
I am so glad I took a leap of faith and climbed in the basket.  It was so much fun.  I can't wait to do it again.

Schools Out

Baker

Schools out for the summer!  (Sing it with me!!!)  We spent the first afternoon of freedom at Baker, drowning worms.  Poor Piper hates it.  She asked me, "Why did Jesus make Spiders?"  I told her to ask Him when she gets to heaven.  She told me she plans on it!

End of an Era

Holy smokes!  Has it really been 2 years?  We are officially no longer the PTO presidents at Red Mountain.

It's heartbreaking and relieving all in the same breath.  I have enjoyed my time at the school immensely. I love being with the kids and love that they know who I am and are totally okay with running up and hugging me in random public places, like Lins or the park.  Mandee has been the best Co-president ever.  It wasn't always easy, but it was a lot of fun, even the hard stuff!  So glad we did it!  And so glad it's over!

Brady

For the last five months I have been watching my friend Londons little guy.  His name is Brady and I love him!  It's only been 2 days a week that he has come and hung out with us, but all of us love him.  I told London that I hoped she didn't care, but I mug on him like he's my own.  It's impossible to get anything done when he is here because I just want to snuggle and play with him. It's been a good baby fix.  He has so much personality and is such a joy to have in our home. We are going to miss hanging out with him.

Friendship

Tyson has the cutest friend named Olivia.  She is a doll face and she is so sweet to Tyson.  He has such a hard time making friends.  She is his best buddy and not his girlfriend, he will tell you, "she's just a friend, who is a girl!"   I am just so grateful for her and how good she is to Tyson.

Gangnam Style Dance Party

Piper and Addie had a sleepover while the boys were gone on fathers and sons.  They watched The Nut Job and had a blast trying to follow the dance moves that happened during the credits.  We watched it several times, that is where all the pictures came from.

Nacho's a bestie, a million stuffed animals and a good movie.  What more could a girl ask for?

Golden Cheetah Soccer

Piper really enjoyed soccer this year.  It was great because she was actually into playing it!  It helped that we knew most of the girls on our team.  There was only 1 that we didn't know and several of the girls were here really good friends.  We had Anna, Jordan and Preslie, which she was super excited about.  Every game was fun because we knew most of the girls on the other teams as well.
Bows and soccer!  Who knew?
