Is it really November?

Only in St. George can you get away with playing in the water in November!  Spent the afternoon playing frisbee gold and playing in the mud.  Good times!

TOFW

Got to go to TOFW this week!  I love TOFW!  I also had the neat experience of being a part of the St. George team.  So much fun!  Met a lot of fun ladies and had fun being part of such a great experience.  We laughed, we cried and we learned a ton!  John Bytheway was my favorite speaker!  And Jericho Road was awesome!  It's like the old guy, boy band for mormon women.  So funny!  I was able to have my sister and my mom come and go with me and also be able to attend with my Doty girls!  It was so much fun!

Peace

 Spent the morning at the temple with one of my favorite gals!  I was so glad to be able to go with Elisha as she took out her endowments.  A morning at the temple was exactly what I needed after this week. And what better way to start out the month of Gratitude than with a trip to the temple?

I am so grateful for Heavenly Fathers plan for us.  I am grateful for the temple and the work that is done there.  For eternal families and God's love. I felt it so abundantly today.  Hope you all have a beautiful weekend.

Halloween

 We did not have any scary costumes this year!

 Although Logans costume was awesome!  He was a beat up Justin Beiber.  Josh told him he shouldn't have worried about the make up.  He could have done it for him!

 We didn't end up waiting for everyone because we wanted to get started.  and good thing we did because it was a LONG night.

 Logan got put on Eva duty and he did great!

 We went down to Cynthia Lane, but it was way busy!  It always is, but it's still fun to see all the things they have to offer. It probably wont be to many more years before the older kiddos are ready to go hang with their friends ;(.  Sad!  I love having them with us and hope we have at least a few more years.

Typical Friday night at the Doty house!  Can you imagine how hard it's going to be to feed them all when they get to be teenagers?!? That's okay, I always wanted a house where the kids felt comfortable to come and hang out.  So glad we have that!

Sarah and Talon came down for fall break and for family home evening we decorated pumpkins.

Oh, decorating pumpkins.  It's one of those love/hate things.  Although JD did his own gutting this year and Piper pretty much did her own, so it was slightly less painful than usual.

Tyson just painted and it was awesome! He's not a pumpkin gutter!

Football

 Man!  That is one cute football player!  JD's last year of playing flag football!  It was so much fun to watch.

 He did awesome!  We had 10 kids on the team, but only about 6 showed up the entire time.  His coach was great.

Kids got some major talent. Can't wait to see where it takes him!

Tyson got his Wolf

He loves cubscouts very much!  I"m so glad he has loved it, because I love it!  Scouting is a wonderful program.

We had so much fun hanging out at the fire station tonight!  What a fun group of kids!
